The Multi Barre Method™


The Multi Barre Method™ was developed in 2015 to offer a safe, effective workout for individuals of all body types and fitness levels. Rooted in physiotherapy principles, every movement in the method is drawn from evidence-based rehabilitation exercises and grounded in optimal postural alignment theory.

Unlike traditional barre classes, Multi Barre does not incorporate dance, yoga, cardio, or long dynamic sequences. The focus is on controlled, targeted movements designed to activate and strengthen key muscle groups—expect to shake and burn. While breaks are always welcome, they are not structured into the class.

Each session begins and ends with focused glute work, and the consistent class format allows you to track progress over time. A brief stretch concludes each practice to support mobility and recovery.

 THE BARRE 

 

In Multi Barre ™️, the barre is an optional prop used primarily for support and balance. When incorporated, it assists the practitioner in performing exercises focused on isometric strength training—holding the body still while engaging specific muscle groups. These movements are paired with high repetitions of small, controlled ranges of motion, all grounded in physiotherapy rehabilitation methodology for safety and effectiveness.

 PROPS & CLASS STRUCTURE 

 

Props & Class Structure
Multi Barre ™️ classes may incorporate light handheld weights, resistance balls, and resistance bands to intensify the burn and enhance muscular engagement throughout the workout. Each class also includes mat-based segments for additional targeted strength work. Suitable for all fitness levels and no prior experience required, every session delivers a safe, challenging, and complete full-body workout.

Our flexible online training is available in English, French, and Spanish, combining self-paced study with ongoing community support. Prefer hands-on learning?
